Olive oil nuts

Ingredients
Vendema Exclusive
4 cups of Vendema olive oil
2 cups of sugar
1 cup orange juice
1 cup cinnamon, boiled
2 cups of cognac or raki
1 sachet of baking powder
0,5 tablespoon of cinnamon cloves
100 g coarsely chopped walnuts
800 g of flour
Instructions
Place the olive oil, cinnamon, cinnamon, raki, sugar and cinnamon cloves in a large bowl.
Stir to melt the sugar a little and add the orange juice.
Add the walnuts and the flour and baking powder gradually until you achieve a soft dough.
Shape the dough into rusks and cut them all the way down without separating them.
Bake them at 180 degrees until they turn golden.
Allow them to cool, then separate them and put them back on the baking tray without covering each other.
Bake them again, preferably in the air at 160 degrees, until they are nuts, and keep them in closed bowls.
